The Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course is internationally recognized as the leading educational program for prehospital emergency trauma care. Developed by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) in cooperation with the American College of Surgeonsβ Committee on Trauma (ACS-COT), the course is based on a philosophy stressing the treatment of multi-system trauma patients as a unique entity with specific needs.
This course is ideal for EMS personnel, paramedics, nurses, and first responders who are directly involved in prehospital emergency care.
